I woke up early just like any other day, thanks to Teddy he thinks he HAS to eat at 5:30 every morning....or he howls. Love him to death, but would appreciate a cat tranquilizer til 7. Kidding!! Would never do that to him, such a precious being, as all of our animals are.
While I was getting ready for work I felt so sluggish, I immediately thought of my issue with dehydration and started drinking water. I had went to get me a bottle of gatorade to make sure I was getting my liquids in. Being at work, I felt like I was going to fall out of my chair...how I felt is just something I am not sure I can put into words. I felt like I was living in slow motion, I have been having hearing issues, and at work we chalked it up to my headset or the mouthpiece on my headset. Never really thought much of it, until I began to be really nauseous and threw up 2 times at work (yuck) yes I made it to the bathroom but still (yuck). I felt really dizzy and off my game, I tried to get an appointment at the clinic at work but they were closed due to a meeting.
I asked my supervisor if I could call my doctor and go see him, also was having trouble concentrating. She said yes of course. I got right in to see my doctor and he examined me and thought what I was experiencing was vertigo. I remember my sister and Becky having that and telling me how awful they felt. Then I mentioned my hearing issue, which he administered a hearing test for me then and there and discovered a "significant hearing loss" in both ears. He was concerned about the lack of hearing on my right ear and how I told him it feels and the symptoms I have been having. He said could be a brain tumor or Menierres Disease. He is referring me to an ENT, which I go to on the 8th of January and I am beyond scared to find out what is going on!
