Such a fun day....

Posting for Saturday, December 15th, 2012

Stephani was auditioning for the lead part in "Driving Miss Kazi" so she agreed to pick me up at 7:30 am and we would do a little shopping.  We started out a Sam's.  I bought a new microwave and Stephani bought an IU long sleeved tshirt for herself.  By the time we checked out it was a monsoon outside, Stephani brought the car up to the door where we loaded our prized purchases and then set off to eat breakfast at Cracker Barrel.

We both enjoyed some pecan pancakes, and then headed for Bed Bath & Beyond.  I was excited to see their Keurig selection since I had heard it was very well stocked and lots of varieties.  I can tell you I was D I S A P P O I N T E D.  I was looking for peppermint tea and something else to "try" nothing reached out and grabbed me though so I may have to order some samples online.  (I love online shopping)  Stephani bought a few things, but since they were Christmas gifts I won't mention them.  :)

We headed to Lawndale for me to drop off my circle of love necklace to be repaired, then we skipped over to Sears looking for diamond cut gold ball earrings for my mom, which apparently they no longer make.  :(

Our last stop led us to Barnes & Noble and I was glad to be able to look around a bit in there.  We both bought several things, but again to protect anyone from finding out their gifts, I can not mention it on here.  I did manage to get me a Rob Lowe Autobiography for (score!) $6.99!  Yes, I have a Nook Color and adore reading on it, but on my last experience with this clearance table in the actual store, if you leave a book for under $10 and then try to buy it on your Nook, it is regular price and then when you go back to Barnes and Noble you are sad and shed a tear when your under $10 book is G O N E!  It has happened, folks, and is NOT a pretty sight.  Trust me.

Stephani won the part hands down!  Please watch for the trailer coming to a You Tube video near you, due out in early spring.  She dropped me off and met my mom briefly.  When she left, I settled down to watch the IU vs Butler game, which was a GREAT game, except for the fact IU lost.  Oh well, you win some lose some, I didn't expect them to have an undefeated season, but I do expect another banner at Assembly Hall.  I so think that is totally doable.

After watching the upset, I had to take Pepper to have her nail caps put on for christmas, they were supposed to be red and green but they didn't have green, she has red instead.  And Baby Girl had her nails trimmed.  Because Sasha has hip issues she wasnt able to get hers trimmed, she will go next week to the vet to have that done.

All in all a fun day!
