Let's talk about hoops ya'll

You know I am talkin about some IU basketball

We have Victor Oladipo jumping all over the court, stealing balls, making alley oops

The Hoosiers setting up shots for the tall man underneath, Cody Zeller, shooting some hoops

Then you have Jordy Hulls who can knock down the three pointers when he is on fire

When your team is up against the Hoosiers, your chances are slim to none, your chances of winning are sure to expire

Will Sheehey has stepped up his game, rebounding, his game face is much better this year

Let's hear it for IU, the fans bring it to each and every game, the Hoosiers know how to yell and cheer

And how about that final shot Christian Watford made to win over Kentucky, nobody will ever forget that, in this universe

But now Kentucky has bowed out wanting to play us no more, guess they know the next rematch will have them losing by much worse

Enter freshman, and a little bundle of d-y-n-o-m-i-t-e, is our boy, Yogi Ferrell, he has quickness, he can steal the ball without the other team knowing what the heck just took place

All in the name of sportsmanship and finishing up the basketball game race

Welcome back to Maurice "Mo" Creek, how we have missed you

Not sure if you are quite back to your A game but we are so glad you are wearing red instead of blue

Others players make up this team but to me these are the ones that start each and every exciting game

I know each of them by name

Although I will ALWAYS be a Bobby Knight fan

Here in 2012, Tom Crean seems to be the man

I love love love me some IU basketball, win or lose

If I had to watch Kentucky play, I would surely need a lot of booze

I will back my Hoosiers to my dying days

No this is not just another Kazi phase

Let's bring home a banner to Assembly Hall

And we can show the haters, one and all

Go to a game if you can

You will see John Cougar Mellancamp there most games, he is a HUGE fan

Let's don our red shirts and support Ferrell, Oladipo, Hulls, Watford, Sheehey, Creek, Zeller and the rest

2012 is our year, hope to show everyone who is the best!!
