The Annoyers

We all have that friend or know someone that is annoying beyond all sensibility and we want them out of our life forever.  Murder is out of the question because most of us, let's face it just dont look so good in orange.  Or jumpsuits for that matter. 

I have had the displeasure to know some pretty annoying folks, just lucky I guess.  Some have the "me" syndrome-all they ever talk about is themselves, and frankly, they bore the hell out of me.  (Excuse the language, but I must warn you, if you are easily offended then, this blog series may not be for you.)  Now, with that being said, I do enjoy hearing from people, not only the ones I see on a daily basis but also the ones I don't see that often.  But here's the thing to remember, you MUST take a deep breath and a little silence can go a long way.  I don't want to hear about everything that is going on for 2 hours without getting in a word edge wise.  If you are that type of person, keep on moving to the next person that wants to hear all about you and only all about you. 

There have also been the people that can't stop talking about "finding their one true love."  Ok, I get that we are not all the same and thank God for that, but joining dating sites and the like, what will you get out of that really?  A few dates, a wham bam thank you ma'am kind of deal.  Is that really what the new "dating scene" has been reduced to.  Like I mentioned above, everyone is different, has different ideas on the dating game, different values (some have no values, but they are the ones that have to deal with that aspect of their trashy little lives), but why has it become so important to have that significant other on your arm?  Are you really that needy that you must spend every waking moment thinking of meeting "the one?"  Give me a freakin break!  Again move on to the next person that wants to hear that spew come out of your nasty little mouth every five minutes....clearly I am not the one that wants to listen to it every five minutes.  Just sayin.....

Then you also have the ones that send you the Private Messages that tell you off or whatever, what happened to the good ole phone call.  True, most of you know, I am not a phone person.  I live on the phone at my job and I don't like to talk on the phone when I am not at work.  Thank God for inventing texting--this was made for me!  But if it is something of almighty importance, wouldn't it be better to call someone or (OMG meet in person....oh what a concept!).   Don't get me wrong, I get lots of private messages and most of them I enjoy reading.  A lot of you have my same sense of humor, and with me, humor goes a long way in my book!  :) 

I have given a few examples of the annoying people I have dealt with in my life, I have weeded out the bad seeds, and kept the flowers in my garden of life.  But I am interested in your take on how to get rid of the annoying people in your life?  Killing them with kindness always backfires on me too. 

It is my hope that one day all the annoying people will unite in their own little annoying houses, in their own little annoying neighborhoods, go to their little annoying restaurants, drive their little annoying cars, be in little annoying relationships with someone that is just as annoying as they are, have little annoying offspring, and enjoy their little annoying lives without me being in it or having to listen to it......
