Sunday, Funday and Chillaxin....

Post for Sunday, October 7th, 2012

Sunday Brittanee watched football alllllll day long, now I understand wives who say they are "football widows."  I like the Superbowl in January, other than that I am not big on football.  Basketball is my passion to watch, I could watch that for hours, and sometimes I do.

I cooked dinner that night, we had porkchops on the George Foreman with greenbeans, corn, and mashed potato's.  See I really can cook.  It was yummy!  Brittanee had found a recipe on Pinterest she wanted me to make so she could take back home with her.  It was pumpkin cheesecake, I thought this was perfect, because I don't like cheesecake or pumpkin, so I would not be tempted to eat it.  :)  Gotta love my thinking.  The cheesecake didn't turn out well at all, in fact, the recipe was doubled so we could have one at home, but it was so gross that both pies had to be thrown away.  Talk about wasted money!!  Who would have known, but alas, even Pinterest recipes are not perfect.

Brittanee and I played one of my all time fave card games, Uno, for a bit.  I was surprised that none of our furry critters wanted to join in the fun.  Usually when they see you are doing something besides paying attention to them, they make sure you know they are in the room and jump on your cards or something.  On Saturday we also played some Uno and Teddy, got one of the cards and wanted to carry it in his mouth, so those have his forever imprint on them.  How nice, thanks Tedster.

My mom and I watched Breaking Amish with Brittanee before retiring for the evening.  It was quite an interesting show I must say.  Not something I want to watch every week, but it was ok tuning into it once.

It was a good weekend spent with the fam.
