An Eventful Saturday

Wished I could have worked on Saturday for some much needed overtime, but alas, it was not meant to be.  So instead my morning started at Schnucks to get some things to cook for today, Sunday, for dinner and for Brittanee to take back home. 

Brittanee made mint chocolate chip cookies from my Pinterest board, which were yummy!  And gone by the way...that is another story for another time.  :)  I made my wonderful breakfast casserole, it was, as always a hit. 

Today Grandma is making Brittanee some beef and noodles to take back with her tomorrow.  I made another Pinterest (love that site) recipe, pumpkin cheesecake, for Brittanee to take back with her. 

Tonight I will make mashed potatoes, green beans, and pork chops.  Looking forward to that! 

Anyway, back to Saturday, our Saturday.  After Schnucks, came home and unpacked the groceries.  Brittanee and I went to Henderson movie theater to see Pitch Perfect, which was beyond funny!  Then I had the bright idea to go into Ruler grocery store, and it was not one of my brightest ideas, for one thing it was welfare weekend and that is one store I wont be frequenting.  For many reasons.....

Then I was dragged to Lucas Oil for Brittanee  to have an oil change for Daphne, and it turned out to be a neat little place.  It had 4 tv screens where you can watch the work going on to your vehicle, both on top where the action took place and in the pit.  It was a pretty cool experience.  And I thought comparable to other places.  I might try it out sometime for the Rav4. 

Then we went by Stephani & Ashley's to check out the cool Halloween decorations, and for Brittanee to see the babies, aka ferrets.  Nice visit. 

Came home, ate  tortellini I had cooked earlier in the day, and then garlic garlic dip which was so hot it made my lips numb but oh so good!  Brittanee & I played Uno, while Grandma watched a movie that we had seen 20 times.  Grandma retired early and then we went to bed after looking at all my pictures on the phone and a video of Brittanee after she had her wisdom teeth pulled.  Good times.

Today, I am on my computer, where I suspect my mom will end up, since Brittanee is watching football allllllll day.
