Indy Bound!

Posting for Friday, October 19th, 2012

I must have been both excited and anxious about the trip to Indy.  I had borrowed my brother in laws truck to drive to Brownsburg, a suburb of Indy, where Brittanee lives.  Something I have never done before.  It makes me a nervous wreck just thinking about driving in 6 lanes of traffic.  I did just that and lived to tell about it, however, I do not wish to make a habit out of it.  Not a fan of big city traffic or driving in it.

I had went to bed about 9:30 Thursday night because I wanted to be bright eyed and bushy tailed, but for some reason I woke up at 1:30 am and could not go back to sleep for the life of me.  So I got up and messed around and left my house about 4:30 am.  Drove to Starbucks for something to keep me awake, which was both a good thing and a not so good thing, I had to make two potty stops because of my frap.

I made good time there, 3.5 hours, and managed not to get lost once.  The upgrade on the Iphone 4s with the map enhancements is AMAZING!!  Siri made sure I didn't get lost :)  So she is good for something.

Once I made it to Brittanee's apartment, we went to eat lunch at Noodles, one of my favorite restarants.  Then we drove to Edinburgh outlet mall, bought a few things, and then we went to an under construction McDonald's and changed into our going out clothes.  I was going to get a surprise from Brittanee, she ended up taking me to Howl At The Moon, which is a dueling piano bar, where they take requests and sing.  We had so much fun at Crocodile Rocks in Myrtle Beach which was my first dueling piano bar experience and I loved it.  Howl at the Moon was a different story, it was lame.  The guy couldn't sing and the woman singer sounded like Minnie Mouse on helium.  We shared one adult beverage and left after one hour.

We went to Meijer's from there, which I love that store!  I could spend hours there.  Of course, I bought a few things there!  Then we went back to Brittanee's apartment and crashed. I had been up 22 hours total and I began to feel each of those hours!
