Old School Video Games

Love Love Love our Wii!  And all the many hundreds of dollars we have invested in all the equipment and games.  I think the Japanese are geniuses that invented the Wii.  Who would have ever thought I would ever play tennis anywhere?  True, I wont ever make a real tennis player, though I would love to be able to play a real game.

I am a HUGE fan of Pacman, and Ms Pacman.  Let's not forget Centipede, Donkey Kong, and video pinball games.  Fun times.  Those were the days.

Now here is my confession, I am sure, some of you may be shocked to hear this...but when I was a freshman in high school, many afternoons I skipped school to play Ms Pacman at the gas station across the street from my high school.  Oh yea, finally I got caught and yes, in lots of trouble, and eventually I had to go back to class and like it.

Nowadays, whenever Becky and I go to Showplace Cinemas we sometimes challenge one another to a game of Ms Pacman, she usually beats me.  Probably why we haven't played in awhile.  :)

Loved Atari games too!  Who is with me on this?!

  1. I didn't spend as much time in the arcades; but I did have an Atari 2600, which is how I spent most Saturdays from 8th grade through high school. Although, I did occasionally go to the Gold Mine at Eastland Mall to play Centipede, Dig Dug, Burger Time, and Qbert!
