Posting for Monday, June 10th, 2013
So we decided to hit Holiday World, my sister got us Season Passes for over 10 years now so we went even though, yes, you guessed it, the weather looked crappy. We got there and I told Brittanee I would ride the Mammoth with her so that is where we started. It was freezing cold water again. This is not how the water is supposed to feel in June!
It sprinkled off and on but nothing major. We spent a few hours in the water park and I was again, feeling let down, by the cold water. We then ventured out into the park to watch some shows, ride rides out in the park and then voila the sun decided to come back out! We took advantage and went back to the wave pool. Finally I got my fun in the sun!
We spent 8 hours there and neither got burned or much sun. It was a start, I suppose. We had a pretty good time.
