Posting for Friday, January 25th, 2013
Just sitting here thinking about what date it is, and I realized a month ago from today was Christmas. It seems like it should be a longer time than this. If this is any indication how the year is going to go, maybe just maybe, I will be swimming and dipping my feet in some water soon. That would be great.
I enjoyed last year's winter so much better. True, we haven't had much of the white stuff or slick roads so far this season, but the temps were great and I could drive anywhere I wanted to in Evansville with virtually no troubles. The colder temps are preventing me from getting out as much. I am not as young as I used to me, some things that never ache, have started aching from the extreme cold weather.
I really believe that 2013 is the year that will be about changes and opportunities. I won't dwell on either, but I certainly wont be turning my head and ignoring any possiblities that might head this way. :)
