The day has finally arrived where I am branching out and instead of writing poetry (which I dearly love) and will still do, but right now I am going to begin writing my first book. I have a great story line I think, when I get through some of it, I may put excerpts in here from time to time. Wish me luck. I am very excited!
Then I will be bugging my friend Wayno more than he ever imagined about putting it together for real. Yea, I know he told me about how to do it standing in Walmart when we last ran into each other, and I am supposed to remember this, right? But the sad truth is that I am getting old and with that being said the memory is not what it used to be. So Wayno, if you are reading this you have been warned. It may be in 12 years, but it might be (hopefully) before this year is over. I would like to say 6 months, but hey, I am totally new to this book writing stuff, so I will be safe and say 1 year.
Oh yeah, I am going to weigh today just for the heck of it, I haven't been brave enough to step on a scale in a long time, I need to know what I am facing. I can tell you I am disappointed at the person that looks back at me from the mirror, but this is a year about now dwelling on that of which we can not change, only moving forward and setting retainable goals!
